Forms Settings

The Forms Settings page allows you to activate EntryChat on a per-form basis. You must configure these settings for each specific form you want to monitor.

EntryChat automatically detects supported form plugins (e.g., Contact Form 7, WPForms, Fluent Forms) and lists them automatically.

Step 1 – Access Forms Settings

  • Go to EntryChat → Forms Settings.
  • You will see tabs at the top representing the form plugins currently installed and active on your website.

Step 2 – Enable EntryChat for a Specific Form

  • Click the tab for your desired form plugin (e.g., Contact Form 7).
  • A list of all forms created with that plugin will appear. Click the toggle icon on a form’s card to expand its settings.
  • Check the Enable EntryChat for this form checkbox to activate the system for this specific form.

Step 3 – Map Form Fields

For the system to communicate with the user, it must know which form fields contain their contact information.

  • Email Field: Use the dropdown to select the field that corresponds to the user’s email address.
  • Phone Field: Use the dropdown to select the field that corresponds to the user’s phone number.

Step 4 – Configure Static Auto Replies (Optional)

If you are not using the AI Auto Reply, you can configure static auto-replies to be sent immediately when a user submits the form.

  • Check the Send auto-reply when form is submitted checkbox.
  • Email Auto Reply: Set the Email Subject and Mail Body.
  • SMS Auto Reply: Enter the SMS Auto Reply Body (leave blank to disable SMS auto-replies).

Using Custom Fields (Shortcodes):
You can personalize your static auto-replies by inserting data submitted by the user. A list of available custom fields (e.g., {your-name}, {your-email}) is displayed below the text editors. Insert these codes directly into your message body.
