This section guides you through the process of installing and activating the EntryChat plugin on your WordPress website.

Step 1 – Download the Plugin

• Download the entrychat-turn-form-entries-into-real-conversations.zip file from your purchase dashboard or repository.

Step 2 – Upload to WordPress

• Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
• Navigate to Plugins → Add New.
• Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the screen.

Step 3 – Install and Activate

• Click Choose File and select the downloaded .zip file.
• Click Install Now.
• Once the installation is complete, click the Activate Plugin button.

Step 4 – Verify Activation

• Upon successful activation, a new menu item labeled EntryChat will appear in the left-hand WordPress admin sidebar, along with its submenus.
• The plugin will also schedule an hourly synchronization background task (ectfeirc_hourly_sync_event) to ensure your IMAP emails and SMS logs stay up to date.
